Discovery Canyon Park features a unique lazy river, a beach area, a large nature-themed playground, a concession with a full menu, picnic tables, and washrooms. Families can bring their own tubes or rent one for $5, then cruise down the gently sloped canyon, perfect for young kids, through bubbling pools of water and into a river-fed pool surrounded by a sandy beach. Throughout the park, informative signs teach kids about the natural water cycle, beginning with a glacier and eventually reaching the Red Deer River.
