DeBolt & District Pioneer Museum Society

The DeBolt & District Pioneer Museum, incorporated in 1975, has grown from a small log building to tell the many stories of the Peace Country community. From the beautiful Bickell paleontology display to First Nations items, early settlement, and farming, homemaking, beekeeping, on cattlemen with rodeo and sports history, each building has its own items of interest. The DeBolt & District Museum Society has also produced four local history books (Across the Smoky, DeBolt Country Club and Agricultural Society 60th Anniversary, Edson to Grande Prairie Trail, and Bridges to the Past).
