


Chinook Winds Regional Park
Chinook Winds Regional Park in Airdrie’s Chinook Winds Drive Southwest offers expansive parkland, play areas, and water fun for full family days. Spanning over 55 acres, the park features more than 2 kilometres of paved pathways, three playgrounds for all ages, a skateboard park, a multi-use court, and a toboggan hill in winter. Sports lovers can enjoy eight new baseball diamonds, four beach volleyball courts, and seasonal concessions, with shelters available for first-come use or advance booking through the City of Airdrie. In summer, the fenced Summer Fun Spray Park adds twist n' spill water toys, a splash blaster spiral, ground sprays, a tappin' tunes piano that plays music and sprays water, a discovery stream, toddler water table, four slides, change rooms, and 12 shaded picnic tables. Chinook Winds Regional Park also hosts Canada Day fireworks and activities, Little League Baseball, slo-pitch tournaments, and a variety of festivals, events, and sporting activities.
