Chickakoo Lake Recreation Area is a scenic mix of woods and lakes that attracts a diversity of birds and other wildlife such as moose, deer, beavers, and more. The 480 acres of woodland and over 14 km of trails are a popular destination for hikers, cyclists, and horseback riders in summer and are groomed for cross country skiers in winter (there’s a warm-up chalet).
