Yates Memorial Theatre

The newly renovated Yates Memorial Centre and Sterndale Bennett are situated in downtown Lethbridge, adjacent to City Hall, at 1002 - 4th Avenue South. The Yates Theatre seats 474 people and the Sterndale Bennett Theatre seats 180. There are hotels, motels, and a wide variety of restaurants, all within walking distance of the theatre. Parking is available on the street and in several adjacent lots. During the day there is on-street paid parking in front Theatre but all parking is free after 6 p.m.The Genevieve E. Yates Memorial Centre is owned and operated by the City of Lethbridge and the Recreation & Culture department administers the operation. The day-to-day operation of the theatres, including user needs and technical support are coordinated by the Head Technician.
