Yardley Jones Tires and Girdle Co. Museum

The New Sarepta Tire & Girdle Company is a fictitious business created by former Edmonton Journal cartoonist Yardley Jones. Many of his cartoons featured the company logo. Yardley Jones passed away in December 2023. Recently, the New Sarepta Historical Society has worked hard to save the landmark Tire and Girdle Co. building from demolition, as they continue the objective to preserve the Yardley-Jones legacy and the history of the community. New Sarepta is a small farming community approximately 24 km. southeast of Edmonton, Alberta. It is the home of the New Sarepta Historical Society. Come visit!
