Created in 1990 by local welder Richard Ethier, this impressive sculpture rises 20 feet above the ground in the heart of downtown Falher. Visitors can walk right up to the base of the statue, take a selfie with the bee and explore the surrounding green space at a relaxed pace. Interpretive information on site shares the story behind the bee and Falher’s connection to it, adding context to your visit. The town is located 37 km north of Nampa on Highway 2, making it an easy detour for road trippers exploring Alberta’s Wildlands region.
