Woolford Provincial Park

Loading...

You’ll find Woolford Provincial Park about an hour’s drive south of Lethbridge. Situated along the St. Mary River, the park is a destination for sportfishing (you can catch cutthroat trout, rainbow trout, pike, and walleye here) and watersports like canoeing and kayaking. There are also plenty of maintained hiking trails to explore the riparian cottonwood ecosystem. You may even come across the only stand of narrow-leaved cottonwoods in Alberta’s parks.
