WITA Culture Camps

Traditional practices and cultural awareness programming are provided in an authentic Nakota tipi village. At WITA Culture Camps, experiences are facilitated by traditional knowledge keepers, and immersive experiences allow guests to catch a glimpse of cultural practices revolving around the tipi village. For example, tipi pitching, nature walks/herbs, roots and berries, storytelling, traditional food preparation and of course the protocols surrounding these and other experiences. The interactive website is an online booking platform that will let you book your experience two years in advance. Their venue is located at Carson Pegasus Provincial Park.
