Wild Calm Forest Therapy (est. 2019) offers guided nature experiences with a certified guide in various locations in Edmonton's beautiful River Valley and the surrounding area. Forest therapy (also called forest bathing) is a research-based practice that helps you slow down, destress, and deepen your relationship to the land. Studies have shown forest therapy to have a broad range of health and wellness benefits, including reducing stress and improving mood, cognition, creativity, and problem-solving, as well as improving cardiovascular and immunological functioning. Wild Calm Forest Therapy's gentle and welcoming guided immersions in the forest typically last 2h in winter and 3h in other seasons. Daytime sessions and full moon events available, as well as private groups and corporate wellness or team-building bookings. See you in the woods!
