Visions, Hopes, and Dreams at Métis Crossing Wildlife Tour

Métis Crossing's wildlife park is home to white bison, wood bison, plains bison, elk, and Percheron draft horses, heritage species whose histories are deeply woven into Métis life. The Visions, Hopes, and Dreams Wildlife Tour takes guests into the paddocks by SUV, guided by a knowledgeable Métis Interpreter who shares the cultural, spiritual, and historical significance of these animals to the Métis people. Bison provided food, clothing, and shelter. Horses carried families across the land. Their return to this territory carries meaning that goes far beyond wildlife viewing. This is a 1.5-hour guided experience running year-round, twice daily. Groups of up to 8–10 guests. Suitable for all ages; accessibility accommodations available upon request.
