Travers Reservoir Provincial Recreation Area

Originally, this provincial recreation area was established on the northeast side of Travers Reservoir. The Travers Dam Campground and Day Use Area are now located at the southeast end of Travers Reservoir. Experience the vastness of the prairie and camp alongside the reservoir. Sites in open grasslands have expansive views in all directions. Canoe, sail or fish on the reservoir, and enjoy the endless skies. This is a wonderful place for stargazing on clear nights.
