The Meadows Community Recreation Centre

The Meadows Community Recreation Centre brings people together to enjoy sport, recreation, social and cultural activities all under one roof! The 234,419-square-foot barrier-free recreation facility, located within the Meadows District Park, provides indoor and outdoor recreational opportunities for people of all ages and abilities. Facilities include an aquatic centre with a 25-metre lane pool, leisure pool, 5-metre dive platform, 1 and 3-metre springboards, waterslide, whirlpool and steam room; a fitness centre with cardio area, jogging track, fitness studios, Olympic lifting studio and a Functional Training Centre; a gymnasium; indoor playground and child-minding services; and an arena with two 200x85 foot ice surfaces. Outdoor facilities include ball diamonds, a spray park, and multi-use trails. multi-use court with basketball, and an outdoor rink for leisure skating in the winter.
