The Fort Museum of the NWMP and First Nations Interpretive Centre proudly offers the only on-site Musical Ride in Canada. As the birthplace of the RCMP in the west, the Fort offers the NWMP Musical Ride four times daily in July and August (weather permitting). Visit the two main galleries and numerous outbuildings after the Musical Ride to learn about the history of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the Blackfoot Confederation, and the settlers to these lands. Scavenger hunts are available for children! The Fort is also the Visitor Information Centre for the community. Stop by the Fort to gather brochures and travel guides to plan your next adventure. Complimentary maps of the region are available and their staff are here to answer any questions you may have.
