Teatro Live

Since 1982, Teatro Live has been delivering contemporary comedy with a classic twist. This highly original and dynamic ensemble creates a completely unique way of producing not only the comedies of founder and resident playwright Stewart Lemoine, but new plays from the troupe and vintage comedies as well. Each season runs from May to October, during which Teatro will stage five plays at their home base, the 200-seat Varscona Theatre in the centre of Old Strathcona. Each production ranges from broad farce and screwball to human and situational comedy — with the key word being comedy. So prepare yourself for theatre that's a riot of fun.
