Tawatinaw Valley

Tawatinaw Valley, 50 minutes north of St. Albert, offers downhill skiing, Nordic trails and tubing for every experience level. The 140-acre ski area features beginner to black diamond runs, a challenging terrain park, two T-bars and a beginner hill with a carpet conveyor lift. Families can also share the fun in the tubing area, while quiet lift lines leave more time for laps. More than 15 kilometres of groomed classic cross-country ski and snowshoe trails wind through the scenic valley. Ski and snowboard rentals include Elan equipment. After a day outside, visitors can warm up with house-made hot meals and snacks in the chalet restaurant, then watch the action from the licensed lounge or expansive deck.
