Tan-Y-Bryn B&B Inn

Tan-Y-Bryn in a Nutshell In the spring of 1926, a Bankhead house was moved to this location. Over the years, the older part of the house has been upgraded, but the footprint is essentially the same. They know that the house has been called Tan-Y-Bryn since 1930, as the name is embedded into the stucco on both the front (west) and south walls. It has been in continual use, first as a tourist home and later as a bed and breakfast (1976) ever since. Tan-Y-Bryn was purchased in 1964 by the family of the current owner/operator. Described as "artisan" and "quirky", you can walk anywhere in the Banff townsite from Tan-Y-Bryn, which remains budget and family friendly. Your host is a third-generation tourism operator who knows and loves the wonderful place where the family is fortunate enough to live and is happy to share recommendations for family favourite hikes and restaurants.
