Taber Giant Corn Stalk
Taber Giant Corn Stalk in Taber’s Aquafun Centre parking lot offers a quirky roadside photo stop that adds fun to any drive along Highway 3. Installed in November 1994, this 36-foot-tall sculpture was created by Saskatchewan farmer and welder George Jaegli after a community fundraiser led by the local Kiwanis Club. The towering stalk features ears of corn approximately 4 feet tall, with leaves ranging from 4 to 10 feet, giving visitors a sense of just how big Taber’s famous corn can feel. Travellers can admire the detailed brass wire corn silks and enjoy the playful spirit of this larger-than-life landmark. Easy to spot just off Highway 3, it is an ideal place to stretch your legs, snap memorable photos and lean into Taber’s lighthearted love of corn during your visit.
