Strathcona Science Provincial Park is a provincial park in Alberta, located between Edmonton and Sherwood Park, south of Yellowhead Hwy. The Park has many walking trails, both paved and dirt, that offer beautiful views of the Edmonton cityscape and the North Saskatchewan River. Mountain biking trails wind through the forest along the river bank and the Park connects to Rundle Park via a long pedestrian bridge over the river. Large open grassy areas are perfect for a quick game of pick-up football or soccer. It's a quick and easy escape from the city.
