St. Albert Botanic Park

St. Albert Botanic Park in St. Albert’s Edmonton region offers a tranquil urban botanic escape with vibrant volunteer-tended gardens for relaxed wandering. From May to September, visitors can stroll five acres of themed beds showcasing roses, lilacs, daylilies, Asiatic lilies, peonies, flowering trees, and evergreens. Paths wind through carefully designed plantings, inviting guests to slow down, breathe in the scents, and enjoy the changing colours of the season. As the only urban botanic park in the Capital Region, it provides a peaceful green space for photography, quiet reflection, and learning about ornamental plants. Special events held throughout the year add extra reasons to return and see what is in bloom next.
