You can explore an old grain elevator, check out the classic cars, and see a steam engine tractor up close. Have you seen the inside of a cook car or the old Gaudin's Store? The buildings are all open to explore. Feel free to bring a bagged lunch as the picnic tables offer a great rest spot near a park for the kids. Pioneer Days, their annual event where the museum comes to life, is a special treat, complete with pancake breakfast and steam-cooked corn! The tractor parade is a big hit too, with the steam engines leading the charge. They finish their season with their Harvest Festival, featuring fall, pioneer activities for everyone! They operate a volunteer run organization, and their season runs from mid May to early September, 7 days a week. Whether you come for the tractor collection or the historic family stories there is something for everyone.
