The Society of Northern Alberta Print-Artists (SNAP) is one of Canada’s premier centres for research and innovation in printmaking. Each year, they present up to 14 exhibitions between their two public gallery spaces, as well as special projects and community collaborations in their Jasper Avenue Window Showcase. SNAP exhibits traditional printmaking practices as well as works that challenge the viewer’s expectations of the medium. The Main Gallery features contemporary work by local, national, and international artists at all stages of their careers. The Community Gallery features new works and projects by local emerging artists in the greater Edmonton and Alberta region.
