Sheep Creek Campground, located near Grande Cache in Alberta’s Northern Rockies, offers riverside campsites that give travellers easy access to the Smoky River. Open sites sit close to the water, with the Smoky River creating a peaceful backdrop for time around the campfire. Travellers can walk from their campsite to the riverbank to cast a line and try their luck fishing, or simply relax and listen to the current moving past. A simple boat launch provides direct access to the Smoky River for paddling or exploring by boat.
