Science Ice Walk - Uplift Adventures

Loading...

Become a scientist-in-training while exploring a world of wonder. Uncover the truth about ice and water as you venture up a wintery canyon to chase frozen waterfalls. The wonderful world of winter is full of science and you get to explore it. Your experience will include a nature walk and science activities that are full of fun and investigation. You will begin your experience by meeting your guide at the trailhead near Crowsnest Pass. Once the paperwork and equipment are handed out, you will do a quick ice breaker (get it?). Now, it is time to explore and discover the wonders of ice. The ice walk is a gentle walk with some short steeper sections. The beautiful part of your experience will be walking through a stunning canyon, listening to the water running below your feet, seeing ice features along the canyon, enjoying the experiments, and learning along the way.
