Explore over 3300 square feet of stories and artefacts. Admission is by donation. Established by members of the Rosebud Lions Club in 1967, the museum highlights the indigenous, settler and ranching history of the Rosebud, Redland and Beynon area. Explore a 1920-30s style settler’s room. Admire watercolours and drawings by Ray W. Salt, co-author of "The Birds of Alberta" and a former high school teacher principal in Rosebud who became a professor of anatomy at the University of Alberta. More than a thousand salt shakers, antique tool collection, 1923 Calgary Stampede award winner's outfit, local railway construction, cartoon postcards sent by Dick Cosgrave. Outside is an elevator mural, and 15 sign walking tour. Gift store and refreshments are available by cash, debit, or credit card.
