Rocky View Brewing Company

Rocky View Brewing Company is a microbrewery located in the scenic Foothills of Alberta, between Calgary and Cochrane. Established in 2016 from a passion for home brewing, it began when the co-founder decided to share his small-batch creations beyond family and friends. Starting with three flagship ales—Blonde, Amber, and IPA—the lineup has grown to include a German Pilsner, Belgian Witbier, Brown Ale, and seasonal Adventure Series brews. The brewery focuses on crafting approachable, flavorful beers using local and Indigenous ingredients wherever possible, with no additives or preservatives. Proudly family-owned and rooted in Cree heritage, Rocky View Brewing first operated on an acreage in Bearspaw before evolving into a full-time business. In 2019, distribution expanded across Alberta, and in December 2021, they opened a cozy Taproom in Historic Downtown Cochrane, welcoming craft beer lovers from near and far.
