Situated along the South Saskatchewan River, Redcliff’s River Valley Park consists of a grassy area with picnic tables and fire pits, an outhouse, a picnic shelter, river access, and a paved multi-use path. The 3 km path runs parallel to the river, then follows switchbacks along the coulees, which feature additional multi-use trails to explore, before looping back to the parking lot. You may decide to follow one of the several paths that will lead you through the trees to reach the South Saskatchewan River. When it is safe to do so, enjoy fishing, skipping rocks, and exploring the riverbed. If you decide that exploring this beautiful landscape would be enhanced by bicycle, check out the Redcliff Public Library’s bike lending program and borrow a bike for free! The River Valley is one of Redcliff's two off-leash dog parks.
