Redcliff River Valley Park

Redcliff River Valley Park in Redcliff offers riverside walking, picnicking, and off-leash dog space for a relaxed outdoor escape. Set along the South Saskatchewan River, this park features a grassy day-use area with picnic tables, fire pits, an outhouse, and a picnic shelter. A 3 km paved multi-use path parallels the river before climbing the coulees on switchbacks, with additional trails branching off for further exploration and looping back to the parking lot. Visitors can follow narrow paths through the trees to reach the riverbank for fishing, skipping rocks, and exploring the riverbed when conditions are safe. Those wanting to ride can borrow a free bike through the Redcliff Public Library’s bike lending program, and dog owners appreciate that the River Valley is one of Redcliff’s two off-leash dog parks.
