Come visit their new rodeo/stampede facility - which opened in 2024. This new facility seats approximately 750 people. With all-new horse pens, an announcer booth and plenty of parking. Call the Town office for more details at 403-752-3322. Raymond is the home to Canada's first Stampede! What started in 1902 by Jesse Knight, Raymond has held an annual stampede ever since! Many rodeo events such as roping, steer wrestling, barrel racing, breakaway and bull riding. Hosted by the Raymond Stampede Society, this historic event draws in both pro riders and amateurs.
