Rapid Fire Theatre

Rapid Fire Theatre is Edmonton's longest-running improv theatre company and one of the most popular improv companies on the planet! With programming for kids, teens, post-secondary students, adults and seniors, there's something for everyone. Having scored a drawer-full of international awards, RFT has been dishing out guffaws since 1981 in the form of high-energy improv comedy and theatre, and high-calibre improv education. Rapid Fire has shows and classes every week of the year at home in the heart of Old Strathcona's theatre district. Check out their hilarious weekly shows like TheatreSports and Maestro, their rotating schedule of hilarious mainstage productions or their smash-hit holiday spectacular, The Blank Who Stole Christmas! In addition to being the largest producer at the Edmonton Fringe Festival, they also produce many in-house festivals, including the risky and raw BONFIRE fest, The Wildfire Teen Improv Fest, and the internationally star-studded IMPROVAGANZA in June.
