Queen Elizabeth Campground

Set along the forested shores of Lac Cardinal near Grimshaw, Queen Elizabeth Campground offers 56 campsites—42 powered and 14 unserviced—in a peaceful lakeside setting. Open from summer into early fall, powered and unserviced sites can be reserved up to 90 days in advance, with select sites available first-come, first-served after early September. Amenities include firepits, picnic tables, potable water, washrooms, a playground, picnic shelter, boat launch, pier, and sewage disposal. The campground is wheelchair accessible, with accessible washrooms, trails, and picnic areas. Visitors can enjoy swimming, boating, hiking, and wildlife viewing on forested trails and a sandy beach, while birders will find plenty of waterfowl to observe.
