Prairie Oasis Park

This campground and recreational area 30 km (18 mi) south of Hanna in central Alberta doesn’t use the term “oasis” lightly. Visitors will find a lake that is ideal for swimming, boating and paddling. There’s also a sandy beach that makes it easy to relax and soak it all in. All together, it makes for an excellent escape when you’re touring the hot prairies. The campground accommodates RVs and tents. It has powered sites, group camping areas, potable water, firewood for sale, free Wi-Fi and coin-operated showers and laundry. There are horseshoe pits, a playground and hiking and biking trails for a little dry-land fun. A large group-camping area can accommodate 10 or more units. Campers get full access to the day-use area, which features a boat launch, floating docks and a concession where you can buy treats and other items.
