This rustic year-round escape features 6 to 10 unserviced, first-come, first-served campsites for just $22 per night—perfect for those seeking solitude and simplicity. While there’s no potable water or firewood available on-site, campers will find firepits, pit or vault toilets, picnic shelters, a playground, and a convenient boat launch. Whether you're paddling, relaxing by the river, or gathering around the fire, the natural charm is undeniable. For the adventurous, Poacher’s Landing also serves as a gateway to the wild. Ride horseback, hop on an ATV, or hike through nearby trails that lead into the pristine La Biche River Wildland Provincial Park. It’s a peaceful yet adventurous base for exploring Alberta’s northern beauty.
