In Banff National Park, take the Plain of the Six Glaciers Trail around the shoreline of Lake Louise, follow it into a narrow valley that leads toward Mount Lefroy and Mount Victoria on your way to the Plain of the Six Glaciers Teahouse. Built of timber, and stone at an elevation of 2,100 m (6,890 ft) by Swiss Guides in 1927, the two-story tea house took its name from the view that can be seen from its meadow. After your 5.5 km (3.4 miles) hike, the tea house offers a warm welcome and a delicious menu.
