Oyen Mini Motels

The Oyen Mini Motel consists of nine cabins located throughout the town. The cabins vary in size, but they’re all cute, cozy and comfortable. That’s not unlike Oyen itself, a friend community about 190 km (120 mi) north of Medicine Hat in east-central Alberta. The cabins feature different layouts and have between one and four bedrooms. All come with laundry, firepits, satellite TV and Wi-Fi. Each one also has a barbecue if you want to grill up some steaks for dinner. There are also fully equipped kitchens in each cabin, many featuring dishwashers and microwaves. To top it all off, pets are welcome, and the owners have been known to leave homemade treats for guests in the cabins. It’s no wonder that guests often say that staying in the Mini Motel feels more like being at home than being on the road.
