Ol' MacDonald's Resort

Like the farm in the song for which it is named, Ol’ MacDonald’s Resort has a bit of everything. The family-friendly campground is on the south shore of Buffalo Lake, 30 km (18 mi) northwest of Stettler in central Alberta. The amenities include six playgrounds, a movie theatre, an arcade, a mini-golf course, and a merry-go-round. Kids can visit the farm animals that live at the centre of the site. Campers also enjoy daily train rides and can rent bikes and pedal carts. Grandma’s Kitchen serves up hot food, ice cream, cinnamon buns, mini donuts, and free Wi-Fi. Ol’ Macdonald's Resort offers serviced, partially service,d and unserviced sites, plus nine group camping areas. Three shower houses provide plenty of hot water, too. There are also two laundry rooms and a store that sells firewood, ice, propane, and other camping staples.
