Oji Creations

Oji Creations, located in Calgary’s Bowness neighbourhood, offers Indigenous arts and crafts that connect visitors with powerful stories and culture. Run by Saulteaux/Métis artist and curator Autumn Whiteway (“Night Singing Woman”), this studio highlights traditional craftwork, painting, digital art and photography rooted in Treaty 7 territory. Her work draws on the symbolic Woodland Style and is inspired by artists such as Norval Morrisseau and Kent Monkman. Autumn’s photography and curated exhibitions explore themes like Indigenous motherhood, matriarchy and ecological relationships to the land. Travellers can browse an online store and arrange in-person viewings or pickups at the Calgary location for a more personal experience with the artwork.
