Mystery Trail

Mystery Trail in Elkwater’s Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park offers a forested hiking route with wildlife viewing for a peaceful escape. The trail begins at the water tower and follows an old forestry road before climbing steadily toward the plateau. As the path gains elevation, the forest opens to stretches of mature lodgepole pine, creating a quiet, sheltered atmosphere under tall, straight trunks. From the plateau, the route continues west to meet the top of Mitchell Creek Trail, giving hikers a sense of journey and connection to the wider trail network.
