Muriel Lake Cross-Country Ski Trail

From gentle rolling hills perfect for beginners to steep exhilarating hills for experts, the trails at the M.D.’s Muriel Lake Park offer a wide variety of trails for all skill levels. M.D. of Bonnyville Parks staff regularly grooms and maintains 13 km of trail throughout the park each winter. Be sure to check out the lookout for one of the best views in the area. If snowshoeing is more your speed, stick to the groomed area beside the set cross-country tracks, and enjoy the beauty of the boreal forest blanketed in snow. Take the chill off in the warming shack! Skiers and snowshoers can get the code from the M.D. Parks office by calling! There is a fire pit with wood and kindling available. Just bring your own lighter. The park is located 11 km south of the Town of Bonnyville on Range Road!
