Moonshine Lake Campground

Moonshine Lake Campground, located in Moonshine Lake Provincial Park near Blueberry Mountain, offers lakeside camping with easy access to swimming and boating. This large campground is 27 km west of Spirit River on Hwy. 49 and 7 km north on Hwy. 725, making it a convenient base in Alberta’s Wildlands region. Campers will find powered sites, sewage disposal, showers and a playground, plus a sandy beach, pier and boat launch right on the lake. Spend warm days swimming, relaxing on the beach or heading out in a non-powered or electric-powered boat. Anglers can fish for trout, while nearby Jack Bird Pond is a peaceful spot for hiking, mountain biking or a laid-back picnic surrounded by forest and water views.
