Medicine River Wildlife Centre in Spruce View offers a wildlife-themed playground and nature trail where families can relax, explore and connect with nature. This wildlife hospital is off-limits to the public, but visitors are welcome to enjoy the Co-op Community Wildlife Homes Playground, wander the peaceful nature trail and make use of the picnic spaces. These outdoor areas are open throughout the day, year-round, offering a quiet escape in every season. Porta-potties are available from May through mid-September. The reception room and gift shop are open Tuesdays to Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., from July 6 to September 2, though no members of the public are permitted inside the rest of the building.
