Marda Loop Brewing

Marda Loop Brewing in Calgary pours four flagship beers and seasonal selections, giving visitors a taste of the community’s beer culture. Brewer Mike de Jonge developed his passion for brewing in his basement, then spent years honing the craft and sharing beers in his kitchen and on his patio. Together with his wife, Lolly, he found a welcoming home for that passion in the Marda Loop communities where they live. Each flagship and seasonal beer carries a name chosen by the community through a social media contest. Visitors can also take part in the Charity Bin program, a playful coin collection system that lets patrons designate a charity of their choice while enjoying a locally rooted brewery experience.
