Machesis Lake Campground

Nestled in a beautiful and remote location surrounded by Jack Pines, Spruce, and Poplar trees, Machesis Lake Campground offers the perfect escape for campers and nature lovers alike. The dedicated seasonal caretakers are on-site to ensure that your stay is both clean and quiet, adding to the overall comfort of the experience. With two docks on the lake, guests can enjoy fishing, relaxing, or simply taking in the stunning views of the water and surrounding nature. Machesis Lake Campground is also equipped to accommodate horseback riders, with eight equine sites featuring horse pens, hitching posts, and manure bins. The sandy wagon trails in the area provide excellent footing for horses, making it a great spot for riders to enjoy the trails. Open from mid-May to September 30, this overnight campground offers a truly peaceful experience. Please note that it operates on a cash-only basis.
