L'UniTheatre

L'UniTheatre in Edmonton offers professional Francophone theatre that connects travellers with vibrant French-language culture. Founded in 1992, this company is Edmonton's only professional Francophone theatre, dedicated to developing the francophone community and promoting the French language and French-language cultural expressions in Alberta and across Canada. Its work spans professional theatre, community productions, theatre for young audiences, and training and development activities. L'UniTheatre presents four professional productions each year, including a theatre for young audiences tour performed in schools across Alberta and British Columbia, giving students and visitors a chance to experience live French-language performance up close.
