L'UniTheatre

Edmonton's only professional Francophone theatre company, L’UniThéâtre, formed in 1992. L’UniThéâtre’s mandate is to contribute to the development of the francophone community and the promotion of the French language and French-language cultural expressions in Edmonton, Alberta, and throughout Canada through activities related to the theatrical art form, including professional theatre, community theatre, theatre for young audiences, as well as training and development activities. L’UniThéâtre presents four professional productions a year including a theatre for young audiences tour that is performed in schools across Alberta and British Columbia.
