There are a few ways to enjoy Lessard Lake Public Campground, about 105 km (65 mi) northwest of Edmonton. The first is to park your RV or pitch a tent at one of the overnight sites. Serviced (30 amp and water) and unserviced sites are available. The second is a bit more upscale. It involves booking the outdoor education centre, four adjoining cabins and group camping area. The centre has a cookhouse with a fireplace, sink, stove, freezer, fridge, microwave and coolers. However you choose to stay, you can take advantage of amenities like horseshoe pits, flush toilets, pay showers and laundry. You’ll also be able to enjoy all that Lessard Lake has to offer. The fishing is excellent, and the campground has a boat launch and fish-cleaning stations to make starting and finishing your trip a little easier. The lake is also a popular spot for paddling and swimming.
