Lawrence Lake Provincial Recreation Area

Originally an Alberta Highways wayside campground, Lawrence Lake Campground offers 25 nicely treed, unserviced front-country campsites with fire pits, and pit toilets. There is a picnic shelter for those rainy days. The nearest town, Athabasca, is a 30-minute drive away and offers a full range of supplies and services. This site offers a rustic camping experience with opportunities for paddling, boating, and fishing. A boat launch eases your access to the lake.
