Lake McGregor Provincial Recreation Area

This prairie gem is in Lake McGregor Provincial Recreation Area, 20 km north of Vulcan on Hwy. 23 and 25 km east on Hwy. 542. Sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, canoeing, and fishing are popular activities. Watch for the many kinds of birds including beautiful white pelicans that take advantage of this prairie oasis. There are about 100 sites suitable for RVs and tents. Camp on the prairies near the lakeside where you can escape the summer heat.
