Kumama Bistro & Canteen is currently closed and looks forward to welcoming guests again at a later date. Please check back to this listing for updates. Thank you for your support during Jasper’s recovery. - [Kuma] Origin: Japanese. Meaning: Bear. It started with a guy who wanted to make comfort food that Mama made. No program. Just good food, booze, and coffee. Kumama's team, backed by experience from award-winning restaurants, puts Jasper National Park on the map as a culinary destination. The menus are small, but guests are never left feeling hungry. Open daily from 8 am to 9 pm, guests can dine-in, in or grab food and drink from the canteen. The canteen is curated carefully to promote mostly Canadian-made products. Kumama is located on the resort property of Pine Bungalows. Guests of the resort, have the option of having their cabin fully stocked with snacks, pre-made meals, groceries, and beverages from the Canteen. The Bistro has established fine relationships in the industry and often invites Executive Chefs from other well-known restaurants for pop-up events. The patio is popular during the summer and there are limited seats in the bistro. Reservations are highly recommended.
