Jarvis Bay Provincial Park

Drive about 27 km (17 mi) west of Red Deer to Jarvis Bay Provincial Park for camping and front-country hiking in the summer and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter. Overlooking the beautiful Sylvan Lake, Jarvis Bay Provincial Park offers a fully serviced campground and an ample trail system. Although there is no access to the lake from the campground, it is only a 10-minute drive to the main beach on Lakeshore Drive in the town of Sylvan Lake.
