Holden Historical Society Museum

The Holden Historical Society Museum (Holden Museum) is housed in the original 1911 Holden town office and fire hall, complete with a jail cell. This community-based museum contains artifacts depicting early life in Holden, including a pioneer kitchen, general store and pump organs. Also featured is an HO scale model of Main Street Holden in 1909-1911. Recent exhibits include visitor experience with a working demo Telegraph system of the early 1900s, operating Shortwave Radio, WW 1 McCloskey Medals, early radios from the 1920s, Battleford Trail/Dominion Telegraph information wall, collection of WW1 & WW2 aircraft posters/paintings, Piche oven and more. Recent adjacent United Church added museum displays. Open mid-May to early September. Open by appointment all other times.
