Half Moon Lake Resort

It’s called Half Moon Lake Resort, but this green, leafy spot offers full-time fun. It’s all just 40 km (25 mi) southeast of Edmonton. There is, of course, Half Moon Lake, which is a popular spot for swimming, paddling, power boating and fishing. The resort takes the swimming one step further with a heated outdoor pool. It also offers pickleball courts, mini-golf, beach volleyball and basketball. The sandy beach is ideal for flying a kite or soaking up a little sunshine after a quick dip. Half Moon Lake Resort accommodates seasonal campers and those staying for a night or two. Plus, there are cabins and RVs available for rent. However long you stay, you can take advantage of the many amenities. These include a store where you can find all the staples or rent paddle boards, paddleboats, kayaks and canoes.
